Description:
Mental Health and Stress Awareness and Raising Suicide Awareness provide the most current information on mental health statistics and trends in the US and in Oklahoma. It identifies signs and symptoms to assess, as well as, risk factors and protective factors. This presentation discusses actions to take and strategies to support individual and community resilience.

Target Audience: The target group in each community consists of the Local Community Social Support Networks, including local public health and mental health systems, faith leaders, law enforcement and fire responders, and Medical Reserve Corps Unit leaders and volunteers.

A community grant from the Carolyn Watson Rural Community Foundation allows the Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps Stress Response Team to present this Virtual Webinar Series Mental Health and Stress Awareness to rural communities.
