"Sleep Deprivation, Fatigue, and Fitness for Duty", offers a comprehensive exploration of sleep science and its critical impact on workplace performance and safety. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of normal sleep cycles, circadian rhythms, and the crucial role of REM sleep, as well as understanding the causes and consequences of sleep disruption and fatigue. The course equips attendees with practical skills to recognize signs of sleep deprivation in themselves and colleagues, and provides strategies to counter its effects, including management techniques for insomnia and both acute and chronic fatigue. Through real-case studies, participants will learn to apply this knowledge to enhance workplace safety and personal well-being.
