Rogers: MARC SRT SupportJun 07 2024SRT MRC Needed at Claremore MARC on June 6 & 7 Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARCs) are one-stop shops with many VOAD agencies (Red Cross, Salvation Army, Legal Aid, OK Insurance Dept. and more) present to provide a variety of resources (gift cards, food, consultation, etc.) to those affected by recent disasters. The MARC minimizes the paperwork and drive time for affected persons to receive these needed resources. VOAD is requesting two SRT volunteers per shift to serve as ambassadors at the MARC to guide affected persons through the process. Shifts will be from 12-4 pm and 4-8 pm on both days. Sign up below.
