Anadarko American Indian Expo

Hello to the BEST OKMRC Volunteers!

The American Indian Exposition 2024 is back in full swing in Anadarko OK from Wednesday 10-30-24 through Saturday 11-2-24 at the Caddo County Fairgrounds in Anadarko. OKMRC volunteers have been requested to assist with the AIE Cooling/Warming Station in both a medical and non-medical capacity.

Medical Volunteers will assist with First Aid in the Cooling (or warming) Tent and provide “roving” teams in the field (if we get enough volunteers). MRC will provide first aid supplies and AED

Non-medical Volunteers will monitor the sign ins for staff and Cooling Station visitors as well as help icing down water and support the medical team.

You can volunteer for one shift or multiple shifts. Just please specify which day and shift you are interested in 10-30 through 11-2.

Shift #1: 3:00pm to 6:30 pm

Shift #2: 6:30 pm to 10 pm

Please wear your MRC t-shirt and if you do not have one - we can get it to you! Our BADGE capabilities are still down. Please also wear closed toe shoes. MRC will provide the first aid equipment and supplies. You will have time to watch the festivities and enjoy the afternoon and evening.

More about the EXPO: There will be Native American traditional dancing, native and fair foods, Indian horse racing, special entertainment, arts and crafts and a complete midway from 10-30-24 through 11-2-24 at the Caddo County Fairgrounds. OKMRC is teaming up with Indian Health Services, the Caddo Nation CERT Team and the Caddo LEPC to set up and staff a First Aid/Hydration HVAC tent for these 4 days.

THANK YOU to our wonderful VOLUNTEERS!
