University of Oklahoma 2025 Medieval Fair

Hello all:

We are looking forward to an exciting year! Medieval Fair, SoonerCon, SoonerQuest, Bike Rides, Farmer Market, County Fair, Moore Band Contest etc! It is going to be a great year for volunteering!!!!

First 2025 Event:  The 2025 OU Medieval Fair at Norman’s Reeves Park, 2501 Jenkins Ave, Norman, OK 73072, is on the horizon for the weekend of April 4th – 6th. Expected Crowd numbers continue to be in the high 250,000 range.  It is also an OU Baseball and Softball Weekend with the Baseball team facing the LSU Tigers and the Softball Team facing UCF and St Thomas.  So, the area around Reeves Park will be busy most of the weekend.  We operated a second aid station again last year and will plan on that again. We were very busy last year and will be again this year.  We will set up on April 3, 2024. We will be in operation for the hours of the fair on April 4 to April 6th.  If you are local, we could use some hands setting up and breaking down. Especially, Breakdown – if you are available to work after that last shift on the 6th helping us button up our operation, please sign up for the last shift.  We will operate a basic first aid station, offer privacy for a lactation station, baby changes, assisting with lost parents, aiding those unable to walk back to their vehicles and much more support. We have a high need for volunteers with medical credentials. Non-medical volunteers with basic first aid training are a big asset as well. We usually wind up supporting various other things: like assisting with lost parents/children; parking control and public interaction; heat stress; sprains; cuts; bug bites/stings; and eye flushing: etc.  Parking will be provided within walking distance and/or we will try to provide some transportation in and out of the volunteer first aid station.  Snacks and drinks will be available. Food trucks will be there so bring bucks for the turkey legs!
